Pastures New! You've probably noticed we've moved from St. Albans back to Tewin Hill Farm (where we were over fifteen years ago!) If you're looking to buy a piano or stool to treat yourself don't worry we can still help you!
We're only 5 minutes from Welwyn Garden, 10 minutes from Hertford and 20 minutes from St. Albans. You're more than welcome to ring us to make sure we'll be there at a time to suit you if you just want to come over and have a browse or a chat about your piano needs. Bring the family and the dog and have a walk as well, there are loads of great footpaths on the doorstep. And after your walk if it's a cream tea you fancy The Country Bumpkin's tea shop (link below) is on the farm too. For something a bit stronger there are some great local pubs!

Let us sell your piano for you If your piano is within 25 miles radius of St. Albans we can inspect, value
it and put it up on our website together with a photo for up to three months
for £65*. In addition, if we are successful in introducing a buyer to you we, as your agent, will do so in exchange for 10% of the selling price. This commission will be waived if the piano is valued or sold for less than £1000.
The advantages of selling your piano this way are that it will have our
professional endorsement as an instrument fit for purpose and at a fair price, usually much more than a dealer will give you!
We regularly have people contact us looking for pianos in all price ranges.
The advantages to buyers are obvious of course, they won't be buying a dud like they might off e-bay!
We reserve the right not to advertise your piano if, in our opinion, it is
not fit for purpose.
*Pianos further away may incur an extra proportionate fee.
We will not charge our regular tuning customers the inspection and insertion fee but you will still be liable for 10% commission whatever the selling price.

How to find us If you go to the left of this page and click on our address you will get a map and directions to Tewin Hill. Having got there and assuming you are approaching from Upper Green (Tewin village) go up Tewin Hill to the farm. There are four entrances on the left to the farm, take the last one which has The Granary written on the gate. This takes you on a gravel drive past the alpacas, chickens and horseshoe sculptures, past The Granary cottages on the left, then into an open yard. You'll see the Brooklands Pianos sign pointing to the left. Park by the fence on the right.
